The Family Man 2 is set to release on the OTT platform named Amazon Prime Video. Which is directed by Raj & DK. After the release of the Trailer, there have been several accusations against the release of Season 2.

Many of the Tamils are claiming a ban against the series. The Tamil Nadu Government has requested the Information & Broadcasting Ministry to either take action or ban the series's release. A shot from the trailer depicted Samantha Akkineni, the antagonist of the series. She plays a role of a character named Raji, who is a Tamil rebel and has entered into a coalition with terrorists.

The directors of the series have conveyed the incidents against the Tamil Eelam and the LTTE which struggled for an independent state. The Tamils have a respectful history compared to others. And it is not fair at all to depict them in an objectionable way.

The Tamils are protesting against the series cast & crew members to ban the release. Especially on the predominant Tamil actress Samantha Akkineni, who has gained popularity in the Tamil industry, with her good films. But the fans have been trending hashtags like #shameonyouSamantha #TheFamilymanagainstTamils.

In a letter to I&B minister Prakash Javadekar, Tamil Nadu IT Minister T Mano Thangaraj said the trailer presented Tamilians in a “highly objectionable manner” and there was an attempt to discredit the struggle of the Eelam Tamils in Sri Lanka.

The chief leader of Naam Tamilar Katchi, Seeman has also tweeted about it. He said 'The release of the series must be banned, if not they will face severe consequences.'

We Tamils will not leave such a series to release, which entirely changes the perspective and the sacrifices people of Tamil Eelam made. We will go any further to stop the release of The Family Man 2.
